SSH into HostGator with Ubuntu 9.10 Screencast

SSH HostGator UbuntuThis is a brief tutorial on how to SSH (Secure Shell) into your HostGator account. It took me a few minutes and a chat with tech support to get this going. I hope this helps someone since it is not very well documented on HostGator, at least I couldn’t find it easily.

    FYI chmod 777 on a Hostgator shared account will give you the 500 Internal server error.
